Strip Search is a drama directed by Sidney Lumet and written by Tom Fontana. It stars Glenn Close and Maggie Gyllenhaal, and premiered at the Monaco International Film Festival on April 4, 2004 and later aired on HBO on April 27, 2004.

The film explores individual liberties in the aftermath of 9/11 and the passage of the Patriot Act. The story follows two unrelated individuals who are detained and interrogated in different countries, and leaves the audience questioning: Must security and safety come at the price of freedom?
