Shades of Blue is a drama series created by Adi Hasak and loosely based on the novel Shades of Blue: 30 Years of (Un)ethical Policing by Michael Rudolph. It stars Jennifer Lopez as NYPD Det. Harlee Santos, who is forced to work as an FBI informant against her colleague Lt. Matt Wozniak, played by Ray Liotta.
The series premiered on January 7, 2016 on NBC and ran for three seasons, with Lopez receiving a People’s Choice Award in 2017 for Best Crime Drama Actress.
