A woman's body was dumped in the bayou, and left to decompose for three months. A retired detective comes out of retirement to help solve the case.
KILLING FIELDS
2016-2018
Killing Fields was the first true crime series developed by Discovery, and executive produced by Barry Levinson and Tom Fontana.
Ifollows the hunt for answers about the murder of Eugenie Boisfontaine, who disappeared in June 1997 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her body was found in Bayou Manchac in Iberville Parish three months later, displaying evidence of blunt force trauma to the head.
Detective Rodie Sanchez was the first investigator assigned to the case, and he came out of retirement to try to solve the crime along with Detective Aubrey St. Angelo, whose father had worked with Sanchez for many years prior to retirement.
