Paterno is a 2018 television drama directed by Barry Levinson, and starring Al Pacino as former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno.
The film follows Paterno’s career leading up to his dismissal following the Penn State child sex abuse scandal in 2011.
The film premiered on HBO on April 7, 2018, and received a number of accolades, including an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie or Dramatic Special.
