QUIZ SHOW
1994
Quiz Show is a 1994 historical drama directed and produced by Robert Redford, and starring John Turturro, Rob Morrow, and Ralph Fiennes.
Adapted from Richard N. Goodwin’s memoirs, dramatizing the Twenty-One quiz show scandals of the 1950s, the film chronicles the rise and fall of a popular gameshow contestant, and the U.S. Congressional lawyer who investigates the accusations of game-fixing by show producers.
It was nominated for several awards, including an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture and several Golden Globe Awards.
