Jimmy Hollywood is a 1994 comedy written and directed by Barry Levinson, and starring Joe Pesci and Christian Slater.
Despite its initial box office disappointment, the film has since developed a devoted cult following. The story revolves around Jimmy Alto (Pesci), an aspiring actor in Los Angeles who becomes increasingly frustrated with his stagnant career and the rising crime in the city. Together with his eccentric best friend William (Slater), Jimmy takes matters into his own hands, adopting the persona of "Jericho," the leader of a mock-vigilante group that captures criminals on videotape and delivers them to the police.
