Gee is running for Mayor of Baltimore, but his controversial platform has made him a target for enemies. Just moments before delivering a political speech, he is attacked and critically wounded. The tight-knit team, including familiar faces Bolander, Munch, Pembleton, Bayliss, and Kellerman come together once more to solve the case.
