Home Fries is a 1998 comedy-drama directed by Dean Parisot, starring Drew Barrymore, Luke Wilson, Catherine O’Hara, Jake Busey, and Shelley Duvall.

The film follows Sally Jackson, a waitress at a hamburger joint, who finds herself pregnant with a married man’s child. When the man’s wife learns about the affair, she enlists her military pilot sons, Angus (Busey) and Dorian (Wilson) from a previous marriage to confront him. The intimidating encounter causes the man to suffer a fatal heart attack. Concerned about potential witnesses within the vicinity, Angus and Dorian investigate and discover Sally as the only one who might have overheard something, still unaware of her connection with their step-father. To keep an eye on her, Dorian takes a job at the burger joint and begins to fall for Sally himself.
