The film was shot on-location in Ireland, and follows two wig salesmen living in war-torn Belfast, Northern Ireland in the 1980s.
Would-be enemies, Colm (a Catholic) and George (a Protestant) become unlikely business partners, and after persuading another wig salesman to sell them his leads, the two embark on a series of sales house-calls in neighborhoods that are dangerous for one or the other partner.
The film was released on Christmas Day, December 25, 2000 by DreamWorks Pictures.
